Neal Baer Inks Pod Deal With 20th Century Fox TV

Emmy-nominated creator-writer-producer Neal Baer (ER, Law & Order: SVU, Under the Dome) and his Baer Bones Productions have signed a pod deal with 20th Century Fox Television. Under the pact, Baer will exclusively develop television programming for both network and cable. The deal is effective immediately. Jessica Shulman will continue to run Baer Bones.

“Neal is a visionary producer whose brand combines intelligence, suspense, spellbinding characters and enormous commercial appeal,” said Jonnie Davis, President of Creative Affairs. “We’ve been anxious to work with him for years and we’re excited to have him bring his eagle eye for great material and his skills as a showrunner to our development efforts.”

Seven-time Emmy nominee Baer, was a writer/showrunner for ER; showrunner of the hit NBC series Law & Order: SVU for 11 seasons; and showrunner for Under the Dome for its entire run on CBS.

Baer is repped by UTA and attorney Michael Gendler.
