LeBron James Picks ‘Cleveland Hustles’ Team For CNBC

Associated Press

Now that LeBron James has finished leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA championship, he can turn to his next game: ramping up the unscripted CNBC series Cleveland Hustles that he executive produces ahead of its August 24 series premiere.

The series, from James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment and Magical Elves, today said that media and eCommerce exec B. Bonin Bough will be host of the show, which pairs four Cleveland business leaders with eight local entrepreneurs looking for an investment to launch their own brick-and-mortar stores in the city’s Gordon Square Arts District, a once-troubled neighborhood working to rebuild. The business leaders, also unveiled today, are Kumar Arora, CEO of Aroridex Ltd; Kathy Futey, Certified Private Wealth Advisor for CPWA; Alan Glazen, founder of GlazenUrban Llc/Neighborhood Developer; and Jonathon Sawyer, owner of the Team Sawyer restaurant. They will determine which entrepreneurs have the goods to succeed.

James and Carter are executive producers for SpringHill, and Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz are exec producers for Magical Elves. Jim Ackerman and Marshall Eisen are executive producers for CNBC.
