Archie Panjabi Joins NBC’s ‘Blindspot’ For Season 2

Someone else had had their eye on Jane Doe. The Good Wife alumna Archie Panjabi has been tapped for a major recurring role in Season 2 of NBC’s thriller drama Blindspot. She will play the head of a secret division of the NSA that has been tracking the Jane Doe case from afar.

A freshman breakout, Blindspot was the highest-rated and most-watched new scripted series last season. In Season 2, the drama starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton is relocating from the post-Voice Monday 10 PM slot to open NBC’s Wednesday lineup at 8 PM.

Panjabi won an Emmy for her role as resourceful investigator Kalinda Sharma on CBS’ The Good Wife. She recently starred in ABC’s legal drama pilot The Jury and is one of the stars of Channel 4’s comedy miniseries Power Monkeys. Panjabi is repped by Gersh.
