EXCLUSIVE: OddLot Entertainment is continuing to bolster its executive ranks as it ramps up operations, promoting Rachel Shane to president of production and development and Natalya Petrosova to CFO and head of operations. Shane joined OddLot as EVP Production in 2013 from Red Wagon Entertainment, where she held the same role and was an executive producer on Divergent and Lawless. Her credits there also included The Great Gatsby, Memoirs Of A Geisha and Gladiator. Petrosova joined OddLot Entertainment in 2006 as SVP Finance and was promoted to EVP Finance in January 2014. She is responsible for arranging and executing OddLot’s production financing and directing all company financial accounting and reporting.

“We are well positioned to move into the next stage of the evolution of OddLot Entertainment under the leadership of Rachel and Natalya,” Odd Lot CEO Gigi Pritzker said. “With Rachel’s guidance, OddLot’s development team has done a terrific job shepherding projects like Landline and Genius while building a strong pipeline of film and television projects. With this team in place, we are now even better positioned to tell impactful stories in film and television with high caliber filmmakers and partners who share our vision for elevated entertainment.”

CBS Films

Hell Or High Water, the David Mackenzie pic co-financed and co-produced with SKE and which drew raves in Cannes, is getting a platform release August 12 via CBS Films and stars Jeff Bridges, Ben Foster and Chris Pine. Gillian Robespierre’s comedy Landline, meanwhile, was originated and developed in-house, and Odd Lot is co-producing and co-financing with Route One Entertainment. Shane is an executive producer on that one with OddLot’s Stacey Keppler serving as co-producer.

Genius, also developed in-house, marks Nat Geo’s first scripted series and it got a straight-to-series order in April. The anthology drama will tell the stories of the world’s most brilliant innovators and hails from Imagine TV, Fox 21 TV Studios, OddLot and EUE/Sokolow. Ron Howard is set to direct the first episode of the series, whose maiden season will focus on Albert Einstein.
