Literary Agent Lindsay Framson Leaves UTA, Joins Kaplan/Perrone As Manager

UTA television literary agent Lindsay Framson is leaving the agency and joining boutique lit management company Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment as a manager representing writers and directors.

Framson had been at UTA for eight years. She started in the agency’s mailroom in 2008 and worked in the TV lit department as an agent for the past four years. Clients who will stay with her in her new role as manager and become clients of Kaplan/Perrone include Justin Brenneman (Quantico), Kyle Flynn, Kathleen Hale, Danielle Henderson (Divorce), Emily Hirshey (The Ranch), Matt Hausfater (Undateable), Deirdre Mangan (iZombie), Morgan Margraf & Jerica Lieberman (Mistresses) and Jack Lawrence Mayer (Single Long).

“Lindsay is a fantastic rep and an even better person,” the Kaplan/Perrone partners said in a statement. “We could not be more excited that she has chosen to join our team.”

She is starting at the management company today.

“Lindsay is a wonderfully rare combination of aggression and kindness,” said UTA Head of Television and board member Matt Rice. “She will be sorely missed at UTA, but we are excited for her to shine in a new light.”
