Showtime Releases ‘Roadies’ Premiere Online For Non-Subscribers Ahead Of Series Debut

Ahead of next weekend’s series debut, Showtime has made the premiere episode of the Cameron Crowe-created comedy Roadies available to non-subscribers. The episode can be seen on Youtube, Facebook, as well as multiple TV on demand services, and is available for download as a free video podcast from iTunes. Meanwhile, Showtime subscribers are able to watch the pilot on Showtime on Demand, Showtime Anywhere, and the network’s stand alone streaming service available on Amazon, Apple, Google and Roku, along with Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and Sony PlayStation Vue. The show will have its linear premiere on Showtime June 26 at 10 PM.

Starring Luke Wilson and Carla Gugino, Roadies is an insider’s look at the lives of the people who work backstage for the arena-level rock group The Staton-House Band, focusing on their relationships, friendships, and devotion to music. The ensemble cast also includes Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Colson Baker, and Ron White. Crowe wrote the pilot and directs the first six episodes.
