‘The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus & Andrew Lincoln Do Their Part For ‘Red Nose Day’

A light, happier Walking Dead?

“There’s just so much blood and gore and horror,” says The Walking Dead‘s Andrew Lincoln. He and Norman Reedus envision a “lighter” show that would bring “sweetness and light into the world.” In a spoof of the Star Wars Holiday Special, their vision of a “lighter” TWD includes appearances by Sonequa Martin-Green and the High Impact, Low-Key Charitable Boogie Down Dancers, Talking Dead’s Chris Hardwick, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Dax Shephard, Jeff Goldblum, Yvette Nicole Brown and a tease of Melissa McBride pounding out a 16-minute drum solo.

Hosted by Craig Ferguson, the second annual Red Nose Day Special on NBC raised more than $31.5 million for kids in need. The show also featured Elton John, Julia Roberts, Jack Black, Ellen DeGeneres, Tracy Morgan and Blake Shelton, to name a few.
