‘Chelsea’ Trailer: Chelsea Handler Pretends To Be Oprah In New Netflix Talk Show

“I’m treating this show like the college education I forgot to get,” says Chelsea Handler in a new trailer for Chelsea, her long-in-the-works talk show set to premiere May 11 on Netflix.

In this first look, we see Handler pretending to be Oprah (“You can say black, it’s fine”); interviews polygamists, offering herself to be a third wife; and, carrying a Donald Trump pinata, asks a person-on-the-street what she thinks of the presumptive GOP presidential nominee. The response: “I don’t know if I can say that on air.”

The 30-minute show produced in Los Angeles, reflects Handler’s unfiltered opinions on topical entertainment and cultural issues, as well as her signature guest interviews. It will stream every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with no commercials. Bill Wolff executive produces.
