CBS Corp has a new SVP Diversity and Inclusion: Catrice Monson, who has been with CBS Labor Relations group since 2000. Based in Los Angeles, she will work to expand and enhance diversity initiatives for CBS Corp. and its business units.
Monson will spearhead West Coast-based components of the company’s multicultural and women’s employee resource groups and oversee the West Coast-based CBS Corporation Diversity Council’s activities and outreach.
She most recently was SVP Labor Relations, representing the CBS Television Network and the labor relations department in negotiations with entertainment unions and guilds on issues related to diversity and increasing access. She has also worked with various divisions to develop and implement community-outreach initiatives and is an active member of the CBS Corp Diversity Council and CBS Corp Volunteer Committee.
“Catrice is a highly effective and respected executive with wide-ranging experience across many CBS business units,” said Josie Thomas, CBS Corp’s EVP, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, to whom she will report. “She’s dedicated and passionate about the importance of diversity and inclusion and will be an invaluable asset in helping to advance the dialogue of diversity as we expand and enhance our focus across the corporation.”
