EXCLUSIVE: WME has signed three-time Academy Award-winning cinematographer Robert Richardson, whose most recent credit is Quentin Tarantino’s Cinemascope Western The Hateful Eight, which earned him his ninth Oscar nomination. He just wrapped production on Ben Affleck’s Live by Night for Appian Way and Warner Bros.
Richardson won Oscars for Oliver Stone’s JFK and Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator and Hugo. His credits also include Stone’s Platoon and Born on the Fourth of July, Scorsese’s Casino and Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained and Kill Bill movies.
He also has 10 ASC Award nominations and four BAFTA noms in his career.
Live by Night, the adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s Prohibition-era set novel, now has an October 2017 release date.
