Paramount TV Options ‘All The Single Ladies’ From Rebecca Traister

Paramount TV has optioned the rights to Rebecca Traister’s New York Times bestselling book All the Single Ladies: Unmarried Women and the Rise of an Independent Nation. Published by Simon & Schuster, the book probes the sexual, economic, and emotional lives of women in America in the 21st century.

The project is the All The Single Ladieslatest collaboration between Paramount TV and Anonymous Content under their first-look production deal. Paramount TV will serve as lead studio and Jeff Okin and Kerry Roberts from Anonymous Content will produce along with Abby Ex. Traister will executive produce.

Traister is writer at large for New York Magazine and a contributing editor at Elle.

Previously announced projects from Paramount TV and Anonymous Content include a series based on Rachel Kushner’s Telex from Cuba, a drama series based on Caleb Carr’s The Alienist from Cary Fukanaga, Maniac, 10-episode straight to series to be directed by Fukanaga and Thirteen Reasons Why, based on the YA book by Jay Asher and executive produced by Selena Gomez. Maniac and Thirteen Reasons Why have gotten series orders from Netflix.

Traister is repped by CAA.
