Nia Long & Brian Baumgartner Join Cast Of Amazon’s ‘Hand Of God’

Nia Long and Brian Baumgartner will join the cast of Amazon’s Hand of God, currently filming season 2 for a premiere later this year. Long (The Best Man) will play Isadora “Izzy” Williams, described as a tough but charming journalist who has a history with Mayor Robert ‘Bobo’ Boston (Andre Royo of The Wire).

Baumgartner, best known for his long-running role as Kevin on NBC’s The Office, will play Dr. Olonari, a successful and eccentric brain specialist in San Francisco.

Long can currently be seen in Keanu opposite Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, as well as on ABC’s Uncle Buck. Baumgartner appears in Geezer, the punk rock dramedy with Billie Joe Armstrong and Judy Greer that premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival April 23.

Ben Watkins, Marc Forster, Ron Perlman, Brian Wilkins and Jeff King are Executive Producers for Hand of God, and Jillian Kugler is co-Executive Producer.
