Emmys: Showtime Offering Free Subscription To TV Academy Members In Call To Vote Campaign

Showtime is amping up its 2016 For Your Consideration Emmy Award campaign with a call to vote, offering TV Academy members the ability to access its streaming service for free through June 30. With their VIP log-in credentials, Emmy voters will have unlimited on-demand access to every season of Showtime original series, along with movies, documentary and sports programming, as well as the network’s live East and West Coast feeds.

In addition, the network says its campaign, themed to the current election, will be viewable in print and online ads in key trades and consumer media and on over 100 buses targeting the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Showtime says it will be sending out its FYC mailer this week and also is hosting a series of panel events for Television Academy and Guild members in Los Angeles and New York, which feature cast and creators from Shameless, The Affair, Ray Donovan, The Circus and Billions. The network’s dedicated awards site to screen all episodes of its Emmy-eligible programs is available at SHO.com/FYC.
