Adam Carolla loves to build things and he will do just that in Adam Carolla And Friends Build Stuff, a live 10-episode series from Spike and Talking Dead producers Embassy Row, slated to premiere in 2017.

Described as an interactive talk show meets a build show meets a live comedy show, Adam Carolla And Friends Build Stuff will feature Carolla as he takes on building projects with celebrity friends in need of his master carpentry expertise. Each week, Carolla will work side-by-side with a different celebrity on their project, infusing comedic commentary and engaging with fans on social media who have their own carpentry questions. The series will be broadcast live from Los Angeles and will include taped segments illustrating the prep-work that went into that week’s building project.

Carolla, who recently hosted Catch a Contractor on Spike, will serve as an executive producer along with Michael Davies and his Embassy Row Productions, a division of Sony Pictures.

Carolla currently hosts The Adam Carolla Show, one of the most downloaded podcasts in the world. He has starred in and produced such television series as Comedy Central’s The Man Show, Crank Yankers and MTV’s Loveline. He has also written directed and starred in feature films, including The Hammer and Road Hard. Carolla is also a New York Times best-selling author. His books include In 50 Years We’ll All Be Chicks, Not Taco Bell Material, and President Me: The America That’s In My Head.
