Fox News Books GOP Hopefuls For Hourlong Sit-Downs Ahead Of Wisconsin Showdown


Fox News Channel is tripling down on the Republican race for the White House, booking Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich for interviews on the night before the critical Wisconsin primary.

Fox NEws logo Donald Trump 2-shotThe hourlong sit-downs — not branded as town halls — will start at 7 PM ET on Monday with On the Record host Greta Van Susteren and Ohio governor Kasich. At 9 PM, Megyn Kelly will interview Texas senator Cruz on The Kelly File, followed by Sean Hannity and the billionaire front-runner on Hannity at 10. All three will be held before a live audience, with the candidates taking questions from voters along with the interviewers.

The Kasich chat will follow his campaign event in Huntington, NY; the Kelly-Cruz event will be in Madison, WI; and Hannity-Trump will be at Pabst Theater in Milwaukee. The GOP-a-thon will be broken up by Bill O’Reilly‘s return to The O’Reilly Factor in the 8 PM hour after some time off.
