ESPN’s ‘O.J.: Made In America’ To Kick Off On ABC In June

ESPN’s five-part documentary special O.J.: Made in America will kick off at 9 PM ET/PT on June 11 on ABC, the two networks said. The first episodic documentary for ESPN Films’ 30 for 30 brand then will move to ESPN for the rest of its run, with Episode 2 on Tuesday, June 14; Episode 3 on Wednesday, June 15; Episode 4 on Friday, June 17; and Episode 5 on Saturday, June 18. Each will air at 9 PM ET and be preceded by a re-air of the previous episode.

The film, which bowed this year at Sundance, is the latest project in the recent re-interest in the 20-year-old Trial of the Century when football star-turned-celebrity Simpson was acquitted for double murder. FX’s The People V O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story drama series has been a ratings hit, and among others Esquire Network said last week it will air The Real O.J. Simpson Trial, a marathon of highlights from the courtroom. It’s set to air from 9 AM-9 PM on April 3 — two days before the final episode of the FX series.
