The gloves are off, and Esquire is betting that viewers can’t get enough of the Trial of the Century. The cable net has set aside half a day for The Real O.J. Simpson Trial, a 12-special marathon of highlights from the America’s most famous courtroom drama. It’s set to from 9 AM-9 PM on April 3 — a well-thought-out two days before the final episode of FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Police mugshotsEsquire’s Juice-a-thon will comprise hourlong bursts of actual footage from Simpson’s 1995 double-murder trial, which captivated the country as it unfolded live on TV and radio. Don’t expects and re-enactments or voice-overs in The Real O.J. Simpson Trial, just — as the net puts it — “the most intriguing, controversial and poignant moments from the trial.” That ranges from both sides’ opening arguments through Mark Fuhrman, Kato Kaelin, DNA evidence (“Where is it, Mr. Fung?”), the gloves incident, closing arguments and the verdict.
