‘The Voice’ Ratings Steady On Uneventful Night, ‘Bachelor’ Special Down, ‘Gotham’ & ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ Even

It was a pretty steady and slow Monday last night in primetime with the likes of Blindspot (1.8/6) and Gotham (1.5/5) even with their winter break returns of last week. The big boy of the night was, no surprise, The Voice (3.2/10), even though it faced a double shot of The Big Bang Theory repeats on CBS at 8 PM (1.5/5) and 8:30 PM (1.7/5) instead of the lower rated (at least last week) Supergirl.

As it is, the second Monday of Season 10 of the singing competition series slipped 6% among adults 18-49 from its February 29 show premiere. With The Voice, which also topped the night with 13.35 million viewers, and Blindspot, NBC took Monday once again in the demo and total viewers with a 2.7/9 rating and an audience of 11.15 million. With CBS all encores last night, ABC was second with a 1.8/6 rating and 6.85 million viewers.

Going head-to-head with the 8 – 10 PM Voice, the Disney-owned net’s The Bachelor: The Women Tell All (2.2/7) declined 12% in the demo from last week’s regular show. Lead-out Castle (1.1/4) was the same as its February 29 show as was Fox’s Lucifer (1.3/4) and both the CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (0.3/1) and Jane The Virgin (0.3/1). Both CW series were even the week before with the week before as was Castle, which is a steadiness network execs can rely on – at least for one more week.
