‘Disneyland 60’ Ratings Top Night, James Burrows Tribute OK, ‘Good Wife’ Even


With a bit of Elton John, some Muppets, Priyanka Chopra, some Frozen and Harrison Ford offering a sneak peek at the Star Wars stuff coming to the theme parks, The Wonderful World Of Disney: Disneyland 60 (1.8/6) topped a mixed Sunday among adults 18-49. The 8-10 PM special about the happiest place on Earth also saw a 64% jump in the demo over last week’s The Bachelor At 20: A Celebration Of Love special in the same slot. Aided by America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.3/5) bopping up 8% from its Valentine’s Day show and a special Shark Tank (1.2/4) at 10 PM, ABC moved from third place to the top spot overall among the 18-49s with a 1.5/5 rating. CBS was No. 1 in viewers with 8.96 million tuning in last night.

Part of that was the 10.67 million and 10.64 million that 60 Minutes (1.1/4) and Madam Secretary (1.2/4) pulled in for the net as the two most-watched shows of the night. While the best the net has done in the 9-11 PM since April 2 — if you don’t count sports or the Golden Globes– the mini-Friends reunion and more actually dipped a tenth from last week’s The Tonight Show Valentine’s Day Special. Icon to icon, the tribute to the master TV director was down 52% among the key demo from the Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute To America’s Golden Girl special on January 16, 2012, a Monday. On Fox, ratings love was a little bit more in the air after a rather sad-ish Valentine’s Day. The Simpsons (1.4/5) and Family Guy (1.3/4) were up 8% each in the demo over last week’s declines. Otherwise, Bob’s Burgers was up a tenth, but Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life (0.7/2) and Bordertown (0.7/2) were even with their low February 14 results.
