The West Wing alumna Stockard Channing is back at NBC, toplining the network’s multi-camera comedy pilot Me & Mean Margaret, from producer Peter Chernin.

Written by veteran comedy writer Adam Barr and directed by top multi-camera director Jimmy Burrows, Me & Mean Margaret is described as an unlikely buddy comedy that follows Margaret (Channing), a fiercely candid and often offensive legendary actress, and the ambitious 27-year-old lawyer forced to babysit her. Barr and Chernin executive produce for Universal TV and Chernin Entertainment.

Emmy winner Channing, who has been recurring on CBS drama The Good Wife, is repped by Paradigm, Anonymous Content and attorney Tom Hoberman.
