‘The Jungle Book’ Super Bowl Spot: Multi-Media In The Rain Forest

Disney’s Super Bowl trailer onslaught continues again with a new trailer for Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book. Though the weird (and kind of cool) thing is the trailer didn’t actually play during the game – only a trailer for the trailer. The actual trailer was posted online, with a cute headline (“emoji”) and everything. Because we care, we have the full trailer, a 2 minutes-plus deeper look at the live action remake of the ’60s animated classic (and based on the Rudyard Kipling classic novel obviously) for you now. Watch it here.

Justin Marks wrote the film, which stars newcomer Neel Sethi as Mowgli amid a blue-ribbon animal-voice cast that also includes Bill Murray as Baloo the bear, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera the panther, Idris Elba as Shere Khan the tiger, Christopher Walken as King Louie the orangutan, Lupita Nyong’o as protective mother wolf Raksha and Giancarlo Esposito as alpha-male wolf Akela.
