KTLA Names Rose Parade Host Replacements For Bob Eubanks & Stephanie Edwards

KTLA Los Angeles has found its new Rose Parade hosts. Leeza Gibbons and Mark Steines will take over for Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards, beginning in 2017.

Gibbons and Steines will host KTLA’s 70th broadcast of the parade on January 2, 2017. (The Rose Parade airs on the 2nd in years when the 1st falls on Sunday).

Eubanks EdwardsAs earlier announced, after a 35-year run together, Eubanks and Edwards have decided to step down, wrapping up with the “Find Your Adventure”-themed Rose Parade on January 1. Theyt first teamed for the 1982 Rose Parade (right).

“KTLA is thrilled to have Mark and Leeza onboard,” said KTLA President & GM Don Corsini. “With a proven combination of experience, national acclaim and a true love for the Rose Parade, Mark and Leeza will honor the legacy that Bob and Stephanie leave, while bringing their own personality and professionalism.”

Gibbons, who began her career as a news reporter, went on to host America Now, Entertainment Tonight and her talk show Leeza. Steines hosts Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family and previously spent 17 years on Entertainment Tonight.

KTLA partners with the Hallmark Channel for national distribution of the KTLA Rose Parade broadcast.

KTLA has been broadcasting the Rose Parade since January 1, 1948, and also aired the event in 1947 as W6XYZ, an experimental station.
