‘Room’ Set Re-Creation Near Landmark Theater Open To Public In December

A couple of weeks ago we told you about the enormous installation piece for the film Room – actually the single-room set used during the Canadian shoot of the film – set up in a retail space next to the Landmark Theater in Los Angeles. Now you don’t just have to take our word for it, as A24 has announced today that the installation, previously shown only to press and industry people, will be available to the public in December.

The installation re-creates the 10×10 foot space where in the film a mother and son are held captive until they make a daring escape. Beginning Saturday December 5 the installation will be open to any ticketholder from the 11:30 AM screening of Room at the Landmark Theater. Room director Lenny Abrahamson will be on hand once the film ends to personally curate audience members’ visit to the exhibit. Curious? Watch the video above for a closer look.
