Damon Gupton Joins ‘Bates Motel’; Trieste Kelly Dunn In ‘Blindspot’

Damon Gupton (The Player) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of A&E’s Psycho prequel Bates Motel. Gupton will play Dr. Gregg Edwards, described as Resident Doctor at Pineview Mental Institution. He walks a fine line between professional curiosity and personal investment in his patients’ lives. Gupton, repped by SMS Talent, Harden Curtis, and Brookside Artist Management, was most recently a series regular on NBC’s The Player. He also recurred on Fox’s Empire.

Trieste Kelly Dunn (Banshee, Believe) has joined the cast of NBC’s freshman drama series Blindspot in a recurring role. Dunn will play U.S. Marshall Allison Knight, who acts as a liaison between WITSEC and the FBI to recover key information that has been hacked. Dunn originated the role as a guest star in episode 109 and will return in the spring as a recurring. Dunn’s other TV credits include The Good Wife, Almost There, Golden Boy, Brothers And Sisters, Bored To Death and Canterbury’s Law. Film credits include indies Loves Her Gun, Cold Weather and Applesauce. She is repped by Innovative Artists and Brookside Artist Management.
