Garret Dillahunt Joins Jason Momoa In ‘Braven’

EXCLUSIVE: Garret Dillahunt is set to star opposite Jason Momoa in Braven, the indie action-thriller being directed by Lin Oeding. The former Raising Hope star will play villain in the film about about a lumberjack (Momoa) who battles mercenaries who are after a heroin stash that has found its way into his family’s mountain cabin. Dillahunt plays Kassen, the leader of the mercenaries.

Thomas Pa’a Sibbett wrote the script from an original story by Mike Nilon. Production began last week in Newfoundland on the film produced through Momoa’s Pride Of Gypsies production banner. Presales on Braven kicked off at the Toronto Film Festival in September.

Dillahunt, who currently can be seen in Amazon’s Hand Of God and Hulu’s The Mindy Project, has recent pic credits that include Just Before I Go, Against The Sun and 12 Years A Slave, is repped by UTA, D2 Management and Stone Meyer.
