Nat Geo Adapting Martha Raddatz’s ‘The Long Road Home’; E! Renews ‘#Richkids’

National Geographic Channel is teaming with Mike Medavoy and Jason Clark to develop a scripted mini-series based on Martha Raddatz’s bestseller The Long Road Home. It will chronicle the events of April 4, 2004, a day that became known in military annals as “Black Sunday,” when a newly-arrived Platoon from the First Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas, was ambushed in Sadr City in Baghdad. Medavoy and Clark are exec producing with Benjamin Anderson and Edward McGurn. Mikko Alanne (The 33) will pen the adaptation.

#RichKids Of Beverly Hills will be back for a fourth season. E! said today it has ordered eight new episodes for premiere in 2016. The fourth season will chronicle Morgan Stewart and Brendan Fitzpatrick’s road to the altar. Dorothy Wang, EJ Johnson and Jonny Drubel also will be back for Season 4, determined to jump-start their respective careers.
