Arjay Smith Joins ‘Major Crimes’; Daniel Zovatto In ‘Brooklyn Animal Control’

Arjay Smith (Perception) has been tapped for a recurring role on TNT drama series Major Crimes. Smith, repped by Global Artists and More/Medavoy Management, will play Dennis Price. Best known for playing Max Lewicki on TNT’s Perception, he also recurred on Sons Of Anarchy and recently guest starred on CSI.

Daniel Zovatto (It Follows) has signed on to the USA Network pilot Brooklyn Animal Control, based on the IDW Publishing comic created by JT Petty. It follows the inner workings of a secret subdivision of the NYPD that functions as social services for some of the city’s most unique citizens: werewolves. Zovatto will play Donovan Crean, an unemployed drunk and car thief in debt to all the wrong people whose world turns upside down with the startling revelation that his father, Brooklyn Animal Control officer John Crean (Stephen Graham), manages werewolves for a living. Accustomed to threats of jail time and broken knees, Donovan suddenly has to deal with the bewildering prospect of ending up gristle in a pile of werewolf scat. Zovatto is repped by the Gersh Agency and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
