Chris Christie & Mike Huckabee Relegated To Kids Table For Next GOP Debate

And then, there were eight.

Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs announced on his show tonight that Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee have been sent to the kids’ table at its GOP debates on November 10 and the one-hour kids’ table Q&A has been moved from 6 PM ET to 7 PM.

Christie and Huckabee join Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum. George Pataki and Lindsey Graham who did not make the cut. FBN’s Trish Regan and Sandra Smith, and Wall Street Journal’s Gerald Seib will moderate.

A “mere” eight candidates – Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, John Kasich and Rand Paul – cleared a 2.5 percent average in approved polls to nab a podium at the main debate, which will start at 9 PM ET. FBN’s Mario Bartiromo and Neil Cavuto, and WSJ editor-in-chief Gerard Baker will moderate.

Candidates needed to score 2.5% or better in an average of the four most recent national polls accepted by FBN to be allowed on the main stage. The earlier debate is hosting candidates who score at least 1% in one of the four polls.

Lou Dobbs Tonight will air between the debates, at 8 PM.
