CBS Developing Female Royal Spy Drama From Gulfstream Television

In a competitive situation, CBS has given a script commitment with penalty to Mi-Zero (tentative title), a drama project from Gulfstream Television and Warner Bros TV, where Gulfstream is based.

Written by Austin Winsberg (Gossip Girl, The Sound Of Music Live!) and Alex Litvak (Predators, The Three Musketeers), the project is described as a fun, action-packed, female-empowerment spy show in the vein of Kingsman and Alias. It centers on a young American woman who marries the Prince of England and discovers that she’s now part of a longstanding secret society of princesses who use their access to the seats of power to be the best secret agents on the planet.

Winsberg and Litvak executive produce with Gulfstream’s Mike Karz and Bill Bindley.

Winsberg is writing gulfstreamtelevisionHearts And Clubs with Christina Aguilera for ABC Family and the Nicholas Sparks-produced divorce comedy The Next Chapter for ABC and WBTV. Litvak is penning Realm, a feature for Stan Lee and Fundamental Films. Gulfstream’s first series order is for the animated Green Eggs And Ham at Netflix, slated for a 2018 premiere.

Winsberg is repped by CAA, Underground’s Trevor Engelson, and Bloom Hergott. Litvak is repped by UTA and Karl Austen.
