First Look: William Goldman & Will Frears On Broadway’s ‘Misery’

EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a first look at screenwriter-playwright William Goldman and director Will Frears discussing Misery, their Broadway adaptation of Stephen King’s thriller starring Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf as an author and his obsessed No. 1 fan. With previews under way and the November 15 opening night at the Broadhurst William GoldmanTheatre fast approaching, ad agency Serino Coyne created the “Misery Manuscript Series” for distribution on the show’s website and across social media. This is the first in the project, which offers to take viewers behind the scenes into the adaptation, scenic design, music and interpretation of the novel to show how the thriller was brought to life (and death) onstage.
