Jordan Peele Signs With CAA

Key & Peele co-creator and co-star Jordan Peele has signed with CAA, the move coming after September marked the final episodes of the award-winning Comedy Central sketch series which ran for five seasons.

Peele has far from slowed down since then. On the film side he can next be seen starring alongside his Key & Peele co-star Keegan-Michael Key in their New Line movie Keanu, which he co-wrote with Alex Rubens and is set for an April 22 release. He is aboard to direct a horror pic, Get Out, a script he wrote that will be produced by Blumhouse and Darko. He and Key also are attached to produce Substitute Teacher at Paramount based on their series’ skits, a Police Academy reboot at New Line, and an untitled Judd Apatow project at Universal.

Peele also is voicing a role in DreamWorks Animation’s Captain Underpants.

On the TV side, Peele and Key have set up a single-camera undercover cop comedy at Fox starring top Vine personality Andrew Bachelor aka King Bach. He also is producing Weird City at Hulu  and animated series Van & Mike at Comedy Central.

Peele remains managed by Principato-Young and attorney Jared Levine at Morris Yorn.
