21st Century Fox has named Jonathan Bing Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications.
In the newly created role, Bing will oversee all communications and media relations for Fox Networks Group supporting executive, legal, distribution, monetization, human resources and internal communications functions, in addition to handling 21CF-related matters. Based in Los Angeles, Bing reports jointly to FNG Chairman and CEO Peter Rice, President and Chief Operating Officer Randy Freer, and 21st Century Fox’s Chief Communications Officer Julie Henderson. Previously, he launched and ran Freud Communications’ Los Angeles Office from 2006 to 2010, overseeing strategic media relations and marketing campaigns for clients including NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Walt Disney Company. He started his career as a columnist and editor with Variety from 2000 to 2006.
