Fox has put in development Incrimination, an hourlong legal drama from Mistresses executive producer Rina Mimoun and writer-producer Justin Lo. ABC Studios, where Mimoun is under an overall deal, is the studio. Lo will write and Mimoun is attached to executive produce and showrun the project.
Described as a salacious soap, Incrimination focuses on Sienna, a young woman with narcissistic personality disorder who infiltrates a law firm in order to find the truth behind her sister’s murder. While working for this firm, she takes the law into her own hands, making sure that if the justice system doesn’t work she will find a way.
Lo, an alum of ABC’s diversity program, was a writer on Parenthood, He has been on all four seasons of Mistresses where he is currently a producer and Mimoun is an exec producer. Mimoun recently sold her pitch Indivisible to ABC as part of her overall deal with the studio.
