Hot Short Film ‘Polaroid’ Landed By Dimension Films

EXCLUSIVE: Dimension Films is optioning the rights to the short horror film Polaroid, which was written and directed by Lars Klevberg. It has been getting strong buzz since recently winning the L.A. Horror short film festival. Klevberg is also attached to direct the feature version which will go out to writers to adapt. Several offers came in, but an exclusive negotiation with Dimension started on Friday afternoon.

Chris Bender, Jake Weiner and Jake Wagner will produce at Benderspink, Roy Lee at Vertigo and Petter Løkke & John Hagen at El Dorado Films which produced the short with Klevberg in Norway. Scott Stoops brought the film into Benderspink and it’s being likened to a potential franchise like The Ring.

Klevberg is Norwegian and is repped by Benderspink and attorney David Fox. Keith Levine and Matthew Signer will oversee for Dimension.
