‘Paranormal Activity’ Open House Terrifies Looky-Loos, Makes Filmmaker Thank His Realtor

How’s this for a nightmare scenario? You’re checking out an open house at a swell-looking property, and while you’re touring around, weird stuff starts happening. Whether you’re buying or just eyeing, when the bathroom mirror shatters on its own, any potential deal has fallen through.

Well, the fiendish folks promoting next week’s release of the latest Paranormal Activity creepshow thought it would oodles of fun to scare the bejeezus out of some looky loos in a Halloween prank/promo. They staged an open house at the home used to film the original Paranormal Activity and rigged some terror-inducing effects that leave the shoppers scarred. Watch the video above to see the reactions of these unfortunate people. The latest film in Blumhouse’s horror franchise, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, opens October 23 in the U.S.
