Peter Mensah To Haunt ‘Sleepy Hollow’; Elle McLemore Knows ‘Grease Live’ Is The Word

Peter Mensah is traveling to Sleepy Hollow this year, taking on a pivotal recurring guest starring role beginning in November and lasting through the end of the current season. He’ll play the Hidden One, an ancient, desiccated god who returns to the mortal world revived as a handsome, powerful menace with eyes that entrance and torment. His first appearance will be in the season’s seventh episode, airing November 12. Mensah is known for portraying the Persian messenger in Zach Snyder’s 300 and its sequel, 300: Rise Of An Empire, and has also appeared in The Incredible Hulk, Jason X, Avatar, as well as the Spartacus TV series on Starz, and True Blood, among many others. He’s repped by APA, Cheri Barner Management, and Stone Meyer Genow Smelkinson & Binder LLP.

Elle McLemore has transferred to Rydell High, where she’ll play Patty Simcox in Fox’s Grease: Live, set to air in early 2016. The production is a live performance of the classic musical later adapted into the 1978 hit film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. The performance will combine elements of the original play and the movie. McLemore recently appeared in American Dresser opposite Tom Berenger, Bruce Dern and Penelope Ann Miller, and was the lead on Broadway in Bring It On, as well as the off-Broadway production of Heathers The Musical. She’s repped by Paradigm, LINK and attorney Alex Kohner.
