Toronto Helmers Ink With Management 360

EXCLUSIVE: Management 360 has inked rep deals with a trio of directors who made waves at the just-wrapped Toronto Film Festival: Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, who co-helmed the Belgian drama Black in the Discovery section, and Turkey-born Deniz Gamze Erguven whose debut feature Mustang screened in the Special Presentations section after bowing at Cannes. All three are repped by CAA.

BlackFallah and El Arbi, of Moroccan decent and based in Belgium, also co-wrote Black with Nele Meirhaeghe and Hans Herbots and edited the fast-paced gritty crime drama, their second feature together. It centers on a 15-year-old girl (Martha Canga Antonio) in a black gang in Brussels who must choose between loyalty and love when she falls for a Moroccan boy from a rival gang. Be For Films rep international rights on the pic. The pair continued to be repped by Ken Lambrechts in Belgium.

MustangErguven’s debut feature, which she co-wrote with Alice Winocur, follows five young sisters living in a coastal Turkish village on the Black Sea who are placed under the tyrannical regime of traditional morality by their guardians. Charles Gillibert (Clouds Of Silas Maria) produced, and Cohen Media Group already acquired U.S. distribution rights to the pic, which bowed in the Directors’ Fortnight section in Cannes. Erguven, born in Turkey and based in Paris and Istanbul, is repped in France by Claire Blondel.
