Adrien Brody Boards Thriller ‘Expiration’ For Corsan

Adrien Brody is set to star in thriller Expiration for sales and finance entity Corsan. Brody will also co-produce via his Fable House production company. Expiration is written by Brian Tucker with Corsan handing international sales. Paradigm is repping domestic rights with filming set to begin next March on location in Europe.

The film follows a day in the life of Bobby (Brody), a former CIA agent gone rogue, who finds himself poisoned in a hospital bed attempting to perform one last job. With only one day left to live, Bobby must find out who his murderer is and see the woman he loves one last time.

Brody has had a solid year, earning Emmy and SAG nominations in History miniseries Houdini, and starring in and producing Chinese hit Dragon Blade opposite Jackie Chan. That film grossed $120 million in its first month in China alone. Brody also stars in Septembers Of Shiraz opposite Salma Hayek, which world premieres at this year’s Toronto. Expiration would make Brody’s third collaboration with Corsan after Paul Haggis’ Third Person and Lee Tamahori’s Emperor. Brody is repped by Paradigm.
