Justin Timberlake To Add His Voice To DreamWorks Animation’s ‘Trolls’

Add Justin Timberlake to the celebrities who will lend their voices to DreamWorks Animation’s musical comedy Trolls, due on November 4, 2016.

He’ll shape the part of Branch, who DWA describes as “a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors.”

The film is based on Troll dolls, the figures with wild, colorful hair that became a fad in the 1960s. The movie “for the first time tells the story behind the beloved Trolls and their gravity defying and colorful manes,” DWA says.

Singer-actress Anna Kendrick will provide the voice for Princess Poppy. She and Branch venture “far beyond the only world they have ever known, [and] their quest will test their strength and reveal their true colors – with no shortage of musical mash-ups along the way!,” DWA says.

The film will be led by veterans of Shrek Forever After including director Mike Mitchell, co-director Walt Dohrn, and producer  Gina Shay.

LBI Entertainment, Wright Entertainment Group and WME represent Timberlake.
