Shannon Petranoff is back at Paramount Pictures, with a promotion. The studio said today that she has been named SVP Interactive Marketing, reporting to Domestic Marketing President Steve Siskind. In her new role, the Snapchat alum will oversee the studio’s domestic theatrical digital marketing, focusing on creating engaging and immersive campaigns across digital, mobile and social platforms.
Petranoff returns to Paramount from Snapchat, which she worked on creative strategy for its West Coast advertising team. Before joining the video messaging company, she was VP Interactive Marketing at Paramount, where she developed digital campaigns for films including Interstellar, Teenage Mkutant Ninja Turtles and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water. Before her first Paramount stint, Petranoff served as Director of Creative Services Marketing for Walt Disney Animation Studios & DisneyToon Studios and Director of Digital Distribution for Disney Interactive.
