Emily Bergl Joins ABC’s ‘American Crime’; Travis Mills In ‘Flaked’

Shameless alum Emily Bergl has joined the second season of John Ridley’s ABC drama series American Crime in a recurring role. She will play Lillah Tanner the mother of Eric (Joey Pollari). Her family becomes embroiled in the fallout of alleged sexual assault. Bergl joins returning stars Lili Taylor, Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, Elvis Nolasco and Richard Cabral — all of whom will be playing new characters in a new setting. Season 2 is filming in Austin.

Travis Mills 2Singer/songwriter Travis Mills has been cast as a recurring in Will Arnett’s Netflix comedy series Flaked. Co-created by Arnett and Mark Chappell, Flaked tells the serio-comic story of Chip (Arnett), a celebrated long-time resident of the insular world of Venice, California who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Mills will play Stefan, owner of the local coffee shop and on the more absurd end of the hipster spectrum. Mills will be releasing his debut full length album on Lava/Republic this fall. His singles include “Vans On”, “All I Wanna Do” and “Young and Stupid”. Mills is repped by Julie Colbert at WME, Adam Mersel, and Dave Becky and Sarah Shyn at 3Arts.
