Hugh Jackman Will Take ‘Broadway To Oz’ To Australia

Hugh Jackman will be taking his song and dance act home to Australia for a new semiautobiographical stage show, Broadway To Oz, set to tour the land down under later this year.

The tour will hit five cities in Australia, and is framed as a personal journey through the Wolverine actor’s life. The performance will cover his early stage days, his life growing up in Australia, and eventual success, with medley of songs associated with Jackman’s career. Performances will feature 150 dancers and musicians. It kicks off in Melbourne Nov. 24, then on to Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, and finally playing Perth Dec. 15. Robert Fox produces for the Dainty Group.

Jackman will next be seen in the Peter Pan origin film Pan, as Blackbeard.
