‘Zoo’ Slips To Ratings Low, ‘America’s Got Talent’ Dips

CBS’ new summer drama Zoo slipped further in the ratings, hitting new Live+Same Day series lows: 5.8 million total viewers (down -13% from last week) and a 0.9 in the adults 18-49 demographic (-25%). The network is yet to make renewal decisions on its three original summer dramas. “The truth is that you have Zoo, which is still the No. 1 scripted show from the summer,” CBS chairman Nina Tassler said at TCA last week, noting that Netflix would get the series after its CBS run and stressing CBS brass are happy with their summer strategy.

NBC’s America’s Got Talent (10.7 million viewers, 2.2 in 18-49) dipped -12% in the demo from last week but still dominated Tuesday, leading NBC to a nightly win, and was up year-over-year. Hollywood Game Night (1.3) was down a tenth.

Fox’s 5th Grader (0.6) and ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss (0.7) both were flat.
