Ella Anderson Joins ‘Mother’s Day’ Cast; Cheryl Ladd Is ‘Unforgettable’

Ella Anderson (Henry Danger) has joined the cast of Mother’s Day, opposite Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis and Kate Hudson. In the Garry Marshall-helmed pic that celebrates motherhood, Anderson will play Sudeikis’s daughter Vicky, who is celebrating only the memory of her mother. The young actress stars as Piper on the Nickelodeon comedy Henry Danger, and other credits include the films Unfinished Business and The Possession Of Michael King and TV’s Dog With A Blog and A.N.T. Farm. She next appears in the features Bukowski and Michelle Darnell. She is represented by Paradigm and Leslie Allan-Rice Management.

Cheryl Ladd is set to play Katherine Heigl’s mother in the Warner Bros feature Unforgettable, the directorial debut of producer Denise Di Novi. Heigl plays a newly divorced mother whose jealousy over her ex-husband’s new fiancee turns pathological. Geoff Stults, Isabella Rice, Simon Kassianides, Whitney Cummings and Robert Wisdom also star. Charlie’s Angels alumna Ladd’s recent credits include Ray Donovan, Anger Management and NCIS, and she next appears in FX’s upcoming American Crime: The People vs. O.J. Simpson. She is repped by GVA.
