The CW Orders More ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ And ‘Penn & Teller: Fool Us’

Get ready for more improv comedy and hocus pocus on The CW. The network said today at the TCA Summer Press Tour that it has picked up new cycles of its series Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Penn & Teller: Fool Us.

From Angst Productions and Hat Trick Productions, the Aisha Tyler-hosted Whose Line? features a cast including Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, and Colin Mochrie taking suggestions from the studio audience and turning them around for comedy bits. It is co-created by Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson, who executive produce along with Jimmy Mulville, Stiles and Brady.

WizardWars_PennTellerPenn & Teller: Fool Us, from 117 Productions and September Films, stars the magician duo in a competition series to find an aspiring magician who can fool the pair with his or her best trick. Those who succeed are invited to perform with the old pros in Las Vegas. Hosted by Jonathan Ross, the series is exec produced by Penn Jillette, Teller, Peter Adam Golden and Andrew Golder
