Miranda Rae Mayo Joins ABC’s ‘Blood And Oil’ In Recasting

Miranda Rae Mayo (Pretty Little Liars, The Game) has joined ABC’s new fall drama Blood And Oil as a series regular in a recasting. She’ll take over the role of Lacey Briggs, the younger daughter of Hap, played by Caitlin Carver in the pilot. The recasting of the role was due to the character being reconceived to be a bit older, according to ABC.

Written by Josh Pate and Rodes Fishburne and executive produced by Tony Krantz, Blood And Oil, centers on a young working-class couple (Chace Crawford, Rebecca Rittenhouse) who move to “The Bakken” in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history, where they are pitted against a ruthless tycoon (Don Johnson) who forces them to bet big and put everything on the line, including their marriage.

Mayo is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Sheila Crawford Management.

Blood And Oil premieres Sunday, September 27 on ABC.
