Circle Of Confusion Ups Brad Mendelsohn To Partner

EXCLUSIVE: Not even a year after Brad Mendelsohn was promoted to Head of Literary at management/production outfit Circle of Confusion, he’s earned another stripe: Mendelsohn’s been upped to partner.

“We are ecstatic to have Brad join us as a partner,” said now-fellow partners David Alpert, David Engel, Frank Frattaroli and Lawrence Mattis a joint statement. “As the head of our literary department he’s been invaluable to the company’s growth, team culture and continued vitality. We know Brad will be instrumental in shaping the future of Circle.”

Mendelsohn, who came to Circle Of Confusion from Endeavor and Industry Entertainment, has a client list that includes Doug Jung (Star Trek Beyond), Todd Harthan (Rosewood), Tim Schlattmann (Dexter), Bryan Sipe (Demolition), Chris Barbour (CSI), Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Vampire Diaries), Jeff Vlaming (Hannibal) and novelist/screenwriters Shane Kuhn (The Interns Handbook) and Taylor Reid (Forever, Interrupted). Director clients include Troy Miller (Arrested Development), Gregory Plotkin (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension) and Roel Reine (The Admiral).

Circle has been busy on both the film and TV front. It has the upcoming pic American Ultra with Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, Air with Norman Reedus, Mr. Right with Sam Rockwell and Anna Kendrick, and Satanic toplined by Sarah Hyland. In the fall it kicks off production on College Republicans starring Daniel Radcliffe.

On the TV side, Circle is a producer on AMC’s The Walking Dead and upcoming spinoff Fear The Walking Dead, Sony PlayStation’s Powers and Cinemax’s Outcast.
