Jericho alum Skeet Ulrich and Mia Vallet (Believe, Mysteries Of Laura) have been cast as series regulars in ABC Family drama pilot Stay. Described as an edge-of-your-seat thriller, Stay centers on a recently widowed police detective and his two daughters who are stranded at a foreboding hotel during a storm and must unravel the hotel’s mysteries to escape. Ulrich, repped by UTA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, will play Shane Brenner, a recent widower who’s mysteriously packed up his family and is moving them across the country. Vallet, repped by Innovative and Suskin Management, is Girl in Gray, first seen at a party in the Grayfield Manor 90 years ago, where she’s seen fleeing the home and then shot. Later she’s seen in the present at the Grayfield Hotel, where still injured, she’s brought inside and her wounds are attended to, though she doesn’t regain consciousness.

Ulrich is perhaps best known for his role as Jake Green on Jericho, which aired on CBS from 2006-2008. His other TV credits include roles on Law & Order: Los Angeles, Miracles and Robot Chicken. His film work includes As Good As It Gets and Scream.

Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure) will direct Stay from a script by Spenser Cohen. The two will executive produce with Anna Halberg.
