Sulkin paired with Sharpe after a 15-year stint partnered with Wellesley Wild. The two co-wrote with MacFarlane the two Ted movies. Goldie has been a mutual friend of the duo, having worked with them on MacFarlane’s Family Guy and sitcom Dads.
Fox Buys Workplace Comedy From Alec Sulkin & Julius Sharpe As Put Pilot
In one of the first significant buys of the 2015 pitch season, which slowly is getting underway, Fox has given a put pilot commitment to Where Are They Now?, a single-camera comedy written/executive produced by Alec Sulkin and Julius “Goldie” Sharpe.
In Where Are They Now, from 20th Century Fox TV, the hilarious ins-and-outs of an Internet company are revealed as police investigate why everyone who worked there has disappeared.
This is the second season as a writing team for Sulkin and Sharpe — both part of Seth MacFarlane’s cadre of writers. Last summer, the duo sold ensemble multi-camera comedy All Together Now to Fox through 20th TV, where both have been based, also with a put pilot commitment.
