Joy Osmanski Joins ‘Gorgeous Morons’; Val Lauren In ‘Graceland’

Joy Osmanski been cast as a series regular in ABC Family’s multi-camera comedy pilot Gorgeous Morons. The project, co-created by Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky and Danny Chun and written by Chun, focuses on Madison and AJ, played by Christopher Russell and Dylan Playfair respectively, two stunningly handsome but ridiculously simple brothers who find their lives rocked by their brainy new roommate, American literature Ph.D. student Jane (Lilah Richcreek) whose looks are, by their standards, in desperate need of help. Osmanski, repped by Bohemia Group and KMR, will play Mary, a co-worker of Jane’s in Columbia’s literature department. She most recently recurred on Lifetime’s Devious Maids and Fox’s The Following.

Val Lauren (Sal) is set for an arc on USA Network’s police drama Graceland. Lauren will play Toros Berbarian, a sharp and volatile lieutenant of the Sarkissian crime family jockeying for rank with fellow family member, Ari Adamian” (Rhys Coiro). He develops a dangerous relationship with Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) and the undercover agents of Graceland. Underground-repped Lauren played Sal Mineo in the biopic Sal, which he co-wrote with director James Franco. He also starred in Sundance short Interior. Leather Bar. He most recently appeared in Kaz Kiriya’s The Last Knights.
